Blurb Editor Menu

The pop-down edit menu appears when you click the sargeant stripes icon.

The menu has 6 options.  Edit, cut, copy and delete work as expected.  Revisions allows you to pull up a screen with every revision of the blurb.  You can compare multiple blurbs to see what someone erased.  You can reactivate a prior version, copy some text, then reactivate the latest revision and paste the text in.  Permissions is to control access to the blurb.  There is a discussion of Permissions here

Tips

The blurb editor is very flexible.  Some of the ways to use it are:

Placement of a graphic image into a page - uncheck the show checkbox in the blurb editor next to the title field.  Use the image library to paste the graphic image into the blurb, Save.  The graphic is placed into the page and can be moved around.

Placement of a graphic image into a table cell - click on the cell, then use the image library to paste the graphic image into the cell.

Page layout - the default template has two columns per page.  You can control content placement more accurately by creating a table and and matching the cell borders color to the background color (usually white).  Paste the content into the cells, then resize and/or realign the cell content of the table to move the content to the left or right, the top or bottom of the cell. When you Save, the table will be placed onto the page and can be moved to the desired location.  The border will not be visible.
